Review: Found in Us by Layla Hagen

**This can be read as a STANDALONE. The second book in the Lost series tells Jessica and Parker’s story.**

All Jessica wants -as a college graduate — is to be a good girl. She landed the job of her dreams at a museum and is trying to eliminate temptations. No more short skirts (when she can help it). No wild parties. And no men.

She particularly excels at that last thing. . .

Until her path crosses Parker’s. Again. Jessica remembers the last time their paths crossed very well. She was left with a seriously bruised ego. She knows it would be best to avoid him altogether. But the charming Brit makes it hard for her to elude his electrifying pull. He is as irresistible as he is captivating.

And enigmatic.

Because underneath the sleek Armani suit and the sweet British accent that makes her crave his touch, Parker isn’t the perfect gentleman everyone thinks he is.

He’s exactly what Jessica doesn’t want, but desperately needs.

A bad, bad boy.

Jessica is a fun California girl living in London who has gone through some hard times. She is trying really hard to keep her focus on her career and leave the party girl behind. She wants to prove herself that she is ready for responsibility.

"I need to focus on my new life here. My job."

Parker, a men who rejects affection, is very good at hiding his emotions from other people. He is serious, has everything under control and is always trying his best to be the perfect gentleman in front of everyone.

"I'm not a gentleman. I'm just very good at pretending I am."

Jessica offers him an escape from the rules he set for himself and little by little Parker begins to like it. He believes Jessica sees something good in everything, and wants her to do the same with him.

"You make me feel... free."

"I want to learn how to fly with you."

Their relationship is so very sweet and intense. The sexual chemistry and tension that they share is just out of this world.

"I like to take what is mine, Jessica. Do you want to be mine?"
"Yes," I breathe.

And sometimes they are just way too funny.

"Do you have a freaking multiple personality disorder, Parker?"

~

"I do sports, I run from the couch to the fridge at least fifteen times every evening."
Parker bursts out laughing, shaking his head.

This book was more than just a love story. It was a story about 2 people trying to find love and trust. I really loved this book. Everything about it worked for me and I couldn't get enough. And I swear there’s so much more I want to say about this book and how much I loved it, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Bravo Layla Hagen, I can't wait to read Caught in Us!
